“ We had such a good time and a great meal. Denino’s South is welcoming, spacious restaurant. Everyone is SO nice! Our waiter was attentive and friendly. They were welcoming of everyone, large parties and families. The place feels like home. The pizza was delicious! Cheesy and crispy and plenty of pepperoni. The antipasto salad was fresh and generous. The restaurant is accessible. Plenty of parking. ”
“ Bro, shut it down. Besides the amazing pizza, who my child could judge, the mozzarella sticks have changed my life as a full grown adult. I thought my experience with mozz sticks had peaked at a young age, but now as a 37 year old adult male, I finally woke up to the possibilities and found the pinnacle. I didn’t come here for mozzarella sticks, I came here for great pizza. And low and behold across the way, my wife spotted an older couple with far greater experience in life that I’m sure they couldn’t explain to me. But she noticed they ordered mozzarella sticks. Something my offspring would order. I thought to myself there’s got to be something to it. So we tried them out and they sent us into orbit. I found what I was looking for. Thank you guys and gals ”
“ Blown away by their cheese pizza. Absolutely amazing. Truly impressive how good it was, and it was delivered……using door dash, on a stormy night. Point being, it took some time to arrive, and it was still fantastic. Also tried their cheese pizza with meatball (great) and their margarita (also great, just prefer the standard cheese). I look forward to dining here and trying some of their other menu items. Great job!! ”
“ This is top-notch pizza! The white pie is on a different level from white pies I have had before. The cheese pie is up there as well. The pepperoni was cooked to perfection, with the pepperoni curling up on the edges. Rice balls and salad were solid. ”

“ Stopped in for the first after hearing very good remarks about this New Jersey pizza haven. We were definitely not disappointed, got there at a very busy hour and waited about 45 minutes outside. This was fine with me because it gave me time to go to the liquor store and load up on some cold beers since this is a BYOB establishment. We were eventually seated by the friendly hostesses and our expert waitress, we started with a few appetizers, the eggplant tower, freshly fried eggplant with homemade mozzarella , peppers and the house tomato sauce. We also had some garlicky and hot garlic knots and an order of their special meatballs, served with ricotta and the house tomato sauce, all were excellent. After a little wait, this place sends out an amazing amount of pizzas on a busy night, it was time for the piece de la reistance a beautiful thin crust, but not too thin, sausage and mushroom pie, perfectly cooked, nice amount of sauce and an excellent amount of mozzarella. We really enjoyed this pizza and I’ll stack it up there as one of the better pies that I have had in Jersey, Bravo !! ”

“ Yes! We walked down from a different nearby restaurant that had a long wait. Joey D's had comfortable tables, air conditioning, and an attentive server who motioned for us to sit anywhere. We settled right in! There were menus on the table, and a separate menu noting a dinner for two special for $26.95. One of my dinner pals was game. First, a warm basket of fresh bread came for the table. Then, here's what we got: 1 shared app: We picked calamari-fantastic! Fresh calamari, lightly fried served with lemon and and excellent marinara sauce! 2 salads or soups: We both went with the caesar salad, which was great, with lots of shaved parmesan. Another friend got the garden salad, which looked great as well, with red onion, tomatoes, and lots of green and black olives. There were 3 soups offered as well; pasta fazul, chicken and escarole and chicken noodle. 2 entrees: I chose eggplant rollatini with angel hair, and my friend got linguini in white clam sauce. Both were excellent. My order came with two big, cheese stuffed rollatinis, plenty of angel hair, and that wonderful marinara sauce. The linguini in white clam sauce, was also fantastic, starting with a perfect garlic and clam base and topped with an abundance of fresh clams! 1 shared dessert: It was tough choosing between Junior's cheesecake and a freshly filled cannoli. We went with the cheesecake, mostly for ease of sharing, and it was also excellent! This may be, overall, one of the best dinner specials i've encountered in a long, long time. I posted the menu in photos. Definitely check it out! If only I lived closer! ”
